Boys' Club

Estoy Cansado... That has probably been my most used phrase during the second week here in Nicaragua.  I'm tired.  This morning we (Colby, Grady, Taylor, and I) woke up at 6:30 and quickly got ready for quiet time at 6:45.  Our morning devotion was the Parable of the Widow and the Judge, it was teaching about persistence in prayer.  At 8:55 we left for the public square in Nindiri to meet a group of boys.  We played fútbol all morning on a basketball court until about eleven and then met as a group for a Bible story.  Daniel told a story about Nicodemus the Pharisee and also asked the boys about Jesus and if they knew what it meant to follow after Him and repent of our sin.  You could really tell that they wanted to know more and more about Him and what he did on the earth.  After lunch we went to a large field in Nindiri and attempted to keep up with the skill level of some boys while playing fútbol (it didn't work out so well).  We again got to see God working in the lives of some young men yearning for more of Him.  It was great.  Tonight we went to the house of one of the boys to eat and fellowship with them, it was a fun time to get to know them better.  That's about all, so Buenos Noches a todos! (Good night to all!)
