At the end of a busy week, we were able to rest a little before another week full of fun and interesting ministry. We woke up this morning and went to church. (We don't know who was more difficult to understand, the pastor or the translator) After 2 1/2 hours of earnestly trying to decipher what was being said, we ate lunch at the church. Rice for the 10th meal in a row! It was still good. Next, we went to the potter's home where we not only heard of the redeeming love of God, but we witnessed a metaphorical example through the processing of clay into beautiful vases and bowls. For a lot of people, this was the clearest picture of salvation we have seen. It was very powerful. He was too humble to price his own work, because he saw himself as God's servant, not a regular artisan. After we each purchased a beautiful work of art, we returned to base for some very very very etc. much needed rest and pizza! (No rice at all! It was kind of sad.) We are rushing to get done so we can go swim.
Hasta Luego,
Grady, Taylor, and Anna (and some S.I. Interns)

I'm glad y'all are having a good time! We miss everyone!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear your stories and about the work God is doing in and through you all.
