Dirty Day!

So started off the day by waking up late. Courtney set her alarm for 5:00 p.m. instead of a.m. XD But I got dressed in time and made it to breakfast, we had French toast. After breakfast we left for our site. Nichole wasn't feeling well and it felt lonely, but we had to go on without her. When we got there we walked around the community to talk to people about a diabetes program and on our way back it started thundering. Just as we made back it started to pour and some of the boys that live next to where we were started playing soccer on there homemade field.  It looked like so much fun and I couldn't resist going out and playing. We all played for about 45 minutes and we all got so dirty and wet! Bre started a mud fight and I was able to get out of the game before I got pelted in the back with a mud ball. When it stopped raining we were all dirty and wet, but that didn't stop us from helping those who needed it. After we were done at the site we all came back to base and went swimming like every evening. Everyday I have so much fun experiencing the culture and growing closer to God. I am creating relationships with the people around me and even a cute little white dog! I'm going to miss Nicaragua! :'(
