Fanny Pack. Yeah My Fanny Pack.

Today we woke up at about 7:30 (yay for getting to sleep in!). We sat in breakfast eager for the days events, which were a break from working in our ministry sites but definitely not an ACTUAL break. I probably came back to base even more drained than in a normal working day. After eating we drove to the rim of an active volcano and after a quick photo shoot (an hour or so actually) we drove back down to look through a museum and learn more about Nicaragua. When we were fully equipped with knowledge we came back to base and ate lunch. Which was probably the 8th meal in a row we've had rice but it was still delicious. After, we went and cleaned out the micro finance women of their bracelets/hammocks/purses and other items. Our spirits were a little lowered when we took a tour through Fort Coyotepe and learned about the history of the place. A prison which was used to house political prisoners, people who did no wrong and were imprisoned for no reason during war. The market of course was fun. I can now say I'm completely cleaned out of money. Just too many cool things to buy. I bought multiple fanny packs and t shirts. We finished off our day with dinner at the market and ice cream down the road which was super yummy. I'm definitely looking forward to the coming week and seeing what God has in store for us. :)
